Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas!!

I honestly can't believe it's November already!! This year has flown by so quickly!! As now we only have two months left in 2015, it's time to start preparing for Bonfire Night (5th of November) and (in my opinion) most important of all... CHRISTMAS!!! There are still 54 days until Christmas, but I'm sure those days will go passed really fast! However, last night was of course Halloween. We still sort of celebrate Halloween in the UK but not as much as some other countries such as America. I did go out with my friend trick-or-treating but only for a short period of time as it was freezing!

Halloween Night!!

I decided I was going to dress up as a zombie or something similar, but in the end the makeup screamed zombie to me but unfortunately the outfit didn't really. I aimed more for the warm and cosy costume rather than scary as it was only about 10 degrees Celsius. I got inspired to be a zombie by AnderasChoice and Sarocha B; both fabulous you tubers. So if you want to see a step-by-step tutorial on how to achieve the makeup, check out those 2 you tubers above in bold. I practised doing the cut the night before and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Probably because it doesn't have to be neat as it is a large slit wound and you can just drench it in fake blood to make it look more creepy. I know the pictures aren't great quality as they were taken with my phone, but I hope to invest in a new camera.

Bonfire Night!!

This is celebrated on the 5th November so in the next few days. We celebrate Bonfire Night because of the failed attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London by a group of people including a man named Guy Fawkes. People light all colours of fireworks from parks, beaches or back gardens. Sparklers are also a big hit too!! Most cities throughout the UK host large, brightly coloured firework displays. Make sure to stay safe and keep your furry friends inside!!!

CHRISTMAS!!

Christmas is one of favourite times of the year. I think that giving and receiving gifts makes up a small percentage of Christmas. Of course I am super grateful on receiving gifts, but I love being with my family most of all and we have to remember why we celebrate Christmas. I thoroughly enjoy listening to Christmas music throughout the festive month, especially when wrapping gifts for others. I like the classic, popular Christmas songs as well as the more modern ones too. I love planning what gifts to get my family and wrapping them. I like wrapping presents so much, I find it really fun and it never hurts to play some Christmas songs in the back ground! I know some creative ways to wrap gifts too! I'm super excited for the lead up to Christmas and of course the actual day too!

Good bye!!!!!!
